First Sergeant (Ret.) Akida P. Maxwell is a Senior Logistics Manager/Chief of Installation for Logistic Management Institute (LMI), a private, not-for-profit Corporation that provides management consulting, research, and analysis to government and other nonprofit organizations. 1SG (Ret.) Maxwell joined LMI in August of 2013 and brings his experience in project management, information technology, and aligning performance measures with organizational missions. His background provides the Board with expertise in managing diverse issues and people.
Prior to joining LMI, 1SG (Ret.) Maxwell served in the United States Army for over 23 years. 1SG (Ret.) Maxwell is a native of Fort Worth, TX. He earned an Associate of Degree from Central Texas College in 2003. He also earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration/Management in 2009 and a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in Human Resource Management in 2011 from Columbia Southern University, Orange Beach, Alabama.
